When people think of cat rescue they usually think of a cat that is stuck up a tree or perhaps on a rooftop. It would almost be reassuring if that was the norm in cat rescue. Persian cats have been rescued with so many mats and knots in their fur that just walking is painful because the knots pull on their skin each time they walk.
